Head of Victor Small Business
Michael M. Ferber
Mike Ferber is the Head of Victor Small Business and is responsible for the overall strategy, service and product delivery.
Mike has 25 years of technology, process-effectiveness and change management experience. Prior to joining Victor, he served as Chief Information Officer at ICAT with responsibilities in the areas of technology, digital and user experience strategies, as well as operational processes. Before that, Mike served as the Senior Vice President of Change Management for Lehman Brothers Mortgage division in Denver. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he spent five years with GMAC leading operations and technology within their mortgage banking division. Early in his career he spent seven years with Ernst & Young as well as technology start-up companies.
He holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University.
Dan Bradley is a Finance Manager at Victor, responsible for financial management, reporting and strategic analysis.
Dan brings a broad range of experience to his role, beginning his career at Liberty Mutual as a commercial underwriter, which then transitioned into a financial planning and analysis role. He has held financial management positions in insurance, consumer products, consulting and distribution industries, with experience focusing on M&A, marketing and growth strategies..
He earned an MBA from the University of South Carolina with a specialization in business analytics.
Kate Trask is the Program Manager for Victor Small Business. Her responsibilities include being the product expert on each line of business for current and new carrier partners. She works with carriers during the onboarding process and on an ongoing basis to identify new opportunities in the marketplace to round out offerings on Victor for Agents.
Prior to joining Victor’s Small Business division, Kate spent several years as an underwriter for several carriers across multiple lines of business including Victor’s Architects & Engineers program, Hanover Specialty and J&J Insurance. Most recently, she served as Commercial Lines Account Manager for Maine-based P&C Insurance.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Maine. She holds CPCU, AU-M and AAI designations. She also holds an active Maine property/casualty license.
Director of Carrier Relationships
Leslie Downs is the Director of Carrier Relationships for Victor’s Small Business division responsible for the firm’s inside sales team and Victor’s agency distribution network.
Leslie has a long tenure at Victor and brings a broad range of experience to her role which includes sales, operations, customer service and carrier management responsibilities. Prior to joining Victor, she lead sales, marketing and distribution for NetComp Insurance, a startup company later acquired by Victor.
Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Alabama. She also holds an active South Carolina property/casualty license.
Marketing & Communications
Jillian is the US Head of Marketing for Victor. She is responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies for the corporate brands, as well as individual strategies for all programs and products.
Prior to joining Victor, she served as a marketing specialist for an international informational technology company and an account manager for a marketing and public relations firm.
Jillian has her MBA and a BA in Public Relations. She also holds a Certified Marketing Management Professional designation.
Nicole Rhone is the Service Center Operations Manager responsible for the contact center, underwriting and accounts receivable departments for Victor’s Small Business division.
Nicole has spent over 30 years in the insurance industry and has both company and agency experience. She has a long tenure at Victor including roles as BOP Supervisor, Senior Underwriter and Customer Service Manager.
Nicole holds an active South Carolina property/casualty license and non-resident license in 45 states. She has an AU designation and is beginning work toward her CPCU.
Michelle Terminesi is Director of Operations for Victor’s small business division, responsible for operational efficiency, service, process improvement, strategy, and program delivery.
Prior to joining Victor, Michelle spent 23-years at MetLife managing various aspects of the business, including claims, service, product & sales operations, as well as risk and vendor management.
Her most recent role encompassed the design, launch & maturing of MetLife’s Property & Casualty Small Commercial business. Michelle created and led commercial operations and service for the Business Auto & BOP product offerings. While in this role, she was instrumental in the rollout of the agent quote-to-bind technology and launching four distinct distribution channels to accelerate growth.
In addition to a long-standing professional career in insurance, Michelle holds an Associates in Arts degree from the Community College of Rhode Island.
John Toole is Chief Information Officer for Victor’s Small Business division responsible for core insurance platform technology and technology partnerships.
John’s 30+ years in the insurance technology industry includes an extensive background in insurance platform software development. Before joining Victor, John was CIO with Trumbell Services, a subsidiary of The Hartford, where he was responsible for technology platforms. He has also held senior technology roles at InsLogic and Policy Management Systems where his responsibilities included architecture and programming for large affinity clients.
John holds a degree in Computer Science.
